PIKO is a multi-platform streaming service that primarily showcases Filipino contents. Its name is a protmanteau of the words “Pinoy Ako” which translates “I am Filipino”.
Using channel numbers, PIKO features a genre-based programming arrangement that includes movies, vlogs, music, news, talk shows, game shows, sports programs, cooking shows, travel shows, kid’s programs, online radio and online shopping among many others.
It allows its content contributors and users to celebrate Pinoy culture and values, and to promote the immense talent, passion, and ingenuity of the filipino people. PIKO can be experience thru its mobile app available both in Android and iOS devices.

The PIKO story
The story of PIKO began in 2021 with a heartfelt desire from an overseas filipino worker (OFW) who longed for a remedy of his homesickness. Initially, his wish was as simple as reliving the joy of listening to pinoy radio, reminiscent of the experiences he cherished back home in the Philippines.
In collaboration with a dear friend, this wish was transformed into a compelling vision, which ultimately gave rise to the inception of our multi-platform streaming service.
Following a year of conceptualization and preparation, PIKO marked a significant milestone with its soft launch in Japan in October 2022. This initial foray into the market proved to be an inspiration for the entire PIKO team, thanks to the remarkable response and unwavering support from the Filipino community in Japan.
Fueled by this affirmation, the PIKO team has pursued the advancement of the application and the brand. With an unwavering commitment to deliver an exceptional user experience, we have channelled our collective energy towards refining and expanding the platform’s capabilities.
Driven by the passion to connect Filipinos around the globe and provide a source of comfort and familiarity, our journey began.
